A bust of Avery Brundage, whose Asian art collection formed the basis for San Francisco’s Asian Art Museum, has been taken out of its place of honor near the museum entrance and put out of sight in storage.

Located in the Civic Center of San Francisco, the museum, although we joke, Avery Brundage in 1959, still exists in the museum today for our enjoyment.
